Oklahoma HB3965 expands maternity leave for state employees to six weeks of paid leave following childbirth or adoption.

Oklahoma HB3965 amends state law to provide six weeks of paid maternity leave for full-time state employees who have been employed for at least two years. This leave is in addition to any sick leave due to pregnancy. The Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services may create rules to implement these provisions. The act will take effect on January 1, 2027.
