HB3929

Oklahoma HB3929 establishes an occupational therapy compact to facilitate multi-state licensure.

Oklahoma HB3929 creates the Oklahoma Occupational Therapy Compact, allowing occupational therapists and assistants to obtain multi-state licenses. Member states must meet specific criteria, including using recognized national exams and maintaining continuing education requirements. The compact aims to improve public access to occupational therapy services, enhance public health protection, and support relocating military spouses. The Occupational Therapy Compact Commission is established to oversee the compact, with duties including rulemaking, data system maintenance, and dispute resolution.
