HB3601

Oklahoma HB3601 prohibits higher education institutions from using state funds for certain activities.

Oklahoma HB3601 amends the state's higher education laws to prohibit institutions from using state funds, property, or resources for activities that favor or discriminate based on race, sex, color, national origin, or ethnicity. It mandates legislative committee testimony on compliance, requires State Auditor and Inspector compliance audits, and allows students or employees to seek injunctive or declaratory relief for violations. The bill also mandates a biennial study on the impact of these provisions and requires a report to the Governor and legislative leaders.
