Oklahoma HB3014 amends the State Board of Education membership rules by prohibiting the State Superintendent of Public Instruction from serving as the chair or vice-chair of the Board. The Board will consist of seven members, with one appointed from each congressional district and one from the state at large. The Board will annually elect a chair and vice-chair from among its members, with no member serving more than two consecutive terms as chair. The chair or vice-chair must preside at Board meetings.
