Oklahoma HB2961 waives tuition and fees for the spouse and children of Gold Star recipients in the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education and career technology districts. The waiver applies if the Gold Star recipient was a legal resident of Oklahoma at the time of death or if the spouse or child maintains residency in Oklahoma during enrollment. The waiver is limited to a period of five years and is effective July 1, 2026.
