Oklahoma HB2927 amends the Oklahoma Child Care Facilities Licensing Act to modify director qualifications and space requirements for child care facilities. The bill allows individuals with a bachelor's or postgraduate degree to meet the educational requirements for a director. It also extends the probationary period for those actively pursuing the goal. For child care facilities opened or expanded before November 1, 2016, the bill mandates 35 square feet of floor area per infant in rooms occupied only by infants.
