Oklahoma HB2912 mandates Service Oklahoma to annually notify vehicle owners of renewal periods via U.S. mail and email.

Oklahoma HB2912 amends the motor vehicle order renewal process by requiring Service Oklahoma to annually notify all vehicle owners with prior registrations of the renewal period. Notifications must be sent through U.S. mail and to the email address provided by the vehicle owner. If no email address is provided, notifications will only be sent via U.S. mail. The content and form of the notice are determined by Service Oklahoma, which may also adjust mailing costs to account for changes by the U.S. Postal Service.
