Oklahoma HB2895 amends the Oklahoma Child Care Facilities Licensing Act to exclude children from being counted toward the license capacity. It also provides a one-year probationary period for any person replacing a master teacher at a child care center to fulfill the role. The bill specifies that a person with a bachelor's degree or the educational qualifications required by the Department for a November 1, 2016, must have thirty-five square feet of floor area per infant in rooms occupied only by infants.
