Oklahoma HB2829 prohibits the manufacture, sale, holding, offering for sale, or distribution of cultivated meat in the state. Cultivated meat is defined as a meat product produced from cultured animal tissue outside the animal. The Oklahoma State Department of Health can suspend or revoke the licenses of food sellers convicted of violations. The law also grants the Department of Health rulemaking authority to implement these provisions. The act becomes effective November 1, 2025.
