Oklahoma HB2799 amends the state's regulations on retail spirits licensees. It allows these licensees to sell alcoholic beverages on the day of any General, Primary, Runoff Primary, or Special Election, regardless of the election level. The bill also removes certain prohibitions, such as the restriction on selling spirits in cities or towns with populations under 200, and allows sales on credit if a cash or debit card or nationally recognized credit card is accepted. The changes will take effect on November 1, 2025.
