Oklahoma HB2293 extends the termination date of the Oklahoma Broadband Office to June 30, 2028, and transfers its duties to the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, effective December 31, 2030. The Broadband Governing Board and the Broadband Expansion Council will also terminate on June 30, 2028. The Oklahoma Department of Commerce will oversee the Office, which will become a division of the Department. The Office will create and update a Statewide Broadband Plan detailing broadband access areas and improvements.
