Oklahoma HB2287 amends the definition of per-pupil expenditure to include the aggregate current expenditures of school districts from all funding sources. This includes spending on instruction, support services for students, instructional staff, general administration, school administration, business, plant operations, student transportation, and child nutrition services. The definition excludes expenditures for adult and community education, facilities acquisition, debt services, property, and other unrelated costs. The bill declares an emergency and takes effect immediately upon approval.
