Oklahoma HB2084 removes continuing education requirements for license renewal for certain contractors and electrical workers.

Oklahoma HB2084 amends the Electrical License Act to eliminate the need for continuing education for license renewal for contractors and electrical workers. The bill specifies that no contractor or journeyman license shall be renewed unless the licensee has completed twelve hours of continuing education every three years. If a license expires before the continuing education requirement is met, any completed education while the license is expired will apply to the subsequent renewal period.
