HB1837 amends the Achieving a Better Life Experience Program account to ensure that account balances and distributions are exempt from levy, sale, garnishment, attachment, and other legal processes. Additionally, in the event of a beneficiary's death, the funds are exempt from Medicaid recovery liens, claims, and reimbursement proceedings by the Oklahoma Health Care Authority. This act takes effect on November 1, 2025.
