Oklahoma HB1479 requires health insurance plans to notify customers of prescription drug coverage renewals and allows pharmacies to bid on contracts.

Oklahoma HB1479 amends health insurance regulations to require health insurance plans or policies providing prescription drugs to notify customers in writing at least 30 days before renewal. It also mandates that these plans allow pharmacies to bid on contracts to provide pharmacy services, including prescription drugs, at least every three years. This act becomes effective November 1, 2025.
