Oklahoma HB1451 introduces setback requirements for solar and wind energy facilities. After November 1, 2025, solar farms must maintain a distance of at least one and a half nautical miles from runways and nonparticipating property lines. Wind energy facilities must also adhere to these setback requirements. Compliance attestation must be included in reports to the Corporation Commission. Disputes under this act fall under district court jurisdiction, and the Corporation Commission can enforce compliance through its administrative court system.
