Oklahoma HB1401 establishes standards for public playground equipment to be fully inclusive.

Oklahoma HB1401 mandates that all public playground equipment in counties with a population of at least one hundred must meet fully inclusive standards. The bill defines "fully inclusive" as equipment accessible to individuals, including those using mobility devices. It also defines "travel surfaces" as the ground materials used by individuals to navigate the playground. The new law will be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 7350 of Title 63, and it becomes effective November 1, 2025.
