Oklahoma HB1266 amends the state's towing laws to allow wrecking or towing service operators to call for assistance from other operators within a reasonable radius. It also allows wrecker operators to contact remediation companies for specialized labor, equipment, or debris cleanup needed to assist with clearing an accident or roadway. Wrecker operators can bill jointly with remediation companies for services provided. The act becomes effective November 1, 2025.
