Oklahoma HB1126 outlaws the manufacture, sale, holding, offering for sale, or distribution of cultivated meat products in the state. Cultivated meat is defined as meat or meat products produced from cultured animal tissue outside the animal. The State Department of Health can suspend or revoke the licenses of food sellers convicted of violating this law. The law also grants the State Department of Health rulemaking authority regarding cultivated meat. The act takes effect on November 1, 2025.
