Oklahoma HB1123 amends the broadband governing board's oversight and funding mechanisms. It modifies the funding source for the State Broadband Grant Program and eliminates the State Broadband Grant Program Revolving Fund. The Broadband Governing Board, which oversees the Oklahoma Broadband Office, will terminate on June 30, 2028. The Board will consist of nine members appointed by the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and State Treasurer. The Board will also employ, evaluate, and maintain an Executive Director of the Office.
