Oklahoma HB1094 requires the State Department of Education to create curriculum resources on the atrocities of communism for grades six through twelve. The curriculum will explore the human cost, effects on societies, and promote dialogue on American political principles. The State Department of Education must also develop professional learning opportunities for educators. The bill takes effect July 1, 2026.
