Oklahoma HB1085 modifies the administrative fee for service warranty associations and insurers.

Oklahoma HB1085 amends the Service Warranty Act to change the annual administrative fee for service warranty associations and insurers from two percent to a flat fee of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00). This change exempts the fee from certain premium tax provisions. The bill also allows the Insurance Commissioner to levy fines of up to One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per day for late filing of annual financial statements. The new fee structure and provisions become effective January 1, 2026.
