Oklahoma HB1022 amends Section 11-403.1 to require a fee of up to $500 for those convicted of failure to yield causing a fatality or serious injury. The fee will be deposited in the Motorcycle Safety and Education Program. The court may also impose additional penalties, including a remedial driving course, a 90-day driver's license suspension, or restitution between $3,000 and $10,000. The act will take effect on November 1, 2025.
