Oklahoma HB1022 amends the law to require a fee of up to $500 for convictions related to failure to yield causing a fatality or serious great bodily injury. The fee is to be deposited in the Motorcycle Safety and Education Program. The court may also impose additional penalties, including a remedial driving course, a 90-day loss of driver's license, or a payment of restitution between $3,000 and $10,000. The act becomes effective November 1, 2025.
