A study on the costs and effects of planting sterile monoculture invasive plants versus native prairie plants in North Dakota.

The bill directs the Legislative Management to study the costs and effects of planting and tending to sterile monoculture invasive plants and native prairie plants in North Dakota. The study will compare mowing, seeding, and herbicide and pesticide application practices, and analyze how each type of plant affects the state's ecosystems. The Legislative Management will report findings and recommendations to the next legislative assembly.
