North Dakota HB1296 requires individuals carrying concealed firearms to present their license upon request from law enforcement.

North Dakota HB1296 amends the state code to mandate that individuals carrying concealed firearms must present their license or a digital image of it to law enforcement officers upon request. Failure to do so is considered evidence of illegal possession. The bill also requires individuals with concealed firearms to inform officers of their possession during traffic stops or other in-person contacts if asked.
