North Carolina S941 exempts new institutional health services from Department of Health and Human Services review if established by entities.

North Carolina S941 amends the General Statutes to exempt any new institutional health service established, developed, or acquired by entities working in partnership with the Department of State Treasurer from review by the Department of Health and Human Services. The bill also appropriates $50,000 in nonrecurring funds to the Department of State Treasurer for the 2026-2027 fiscal year to implement these changes. The act becomes effective July 1, 2026.
