North Carolina S837, the Ride Safe, Insure Smart Act, requires owners and operators of motocross facilities open to the public to carry insurance coverage of at least $1 million per occurrence and $2 million in aggregate against liability for injury to persons or property. The insurance must be provided by an insurer acceptable to the Commissioner of Insurance and cannot include per person sublimits to liability.
