The Caring for Our Caregivers Act provides income tax exemptions for certain workers and allocates funds for child care subsidies. Qualifying caregiver workers, defined as those with an annual household income under $125,000 and employed at least 30 hours a week, receive a tax exemption. The act also appropriates funds for subsidized child care services for families with qualifying caregiver workers, prioritizing child care workers in the allocation of these subsidies.
