North Carolina S682 provides $6.5 million in nonrecurring funds for the 2025-2026 fiscal year to Discovery Place, Inc., for the Charlotte Nature Museum. The funds will be used to complete sidewalks, parking lots, and electric vehicle charging stations, and to finish the Tree Canopy Walk project, including safety features, accessibility improvements, and educational exhibits. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025.
