Reduces continuing education requirements for certain North Carolina occupational and professional licensing boards.

This bill reduces continuing education requirements for certain occupational and professional licensing boards in North Carolina. It mandates that these boards reduce their continuing education rules by 50% or double the time allowed to achieve the required credit hours. The boards can choose between annual or biennial continuing education requirements. Licensees can carry over earned hours from one compliance period to the next, provided certain conditions are met. The changes apply to applications and renewals of licensure, certification, and permits on or after October 1, 2025.
