Reallocates unspent funds from the North Carolina Civil War & Reconstruction History Center to community projects in Cumberland County.

The bill reallocates unspent funds from the North Carolina Civil War & Reconstruction History Center to various community projects in Cumberland County. Forty percent of the funds will go to the City of Fayetteville for critical community infrastructure, education, and mental health services. Thirty percent will be allocated to the Town of Hope Mills for its Community Center, and another thirty percent will go to Cumberland County for water and sewer infrastructure, youth mental health and substance abuse treatment services, and other projects. The reallocation takes effect on July 1, 2025.
