Establishes residency districts for the Anson County Board of Commissioners in North Carolina.
The bill establishes seven single-member residency districts for the Anson County Board of Commissioners, with one member elected from each district. Candidates must be qualified voters and residents of the district they seek to represent. All candidates are voted on by all eligible voters in the county. Members take office on the first Monday in December of the election year and serve until a successor is elected. The residency districts will be the same as those used in the 2020 and 2022 elections until revised. The act repeals Chapter 281 of the 1987 Session Laws and modifies G.S.
