This bill allows the Scotland County Board of Education to submit a recommendation for supplemental funding for the Scotland County School System to be evaluated by the Scotland County Board of Commissioners instead of a mandatory budget request. The Board of Commissioners may approve the supplemental tax budgets in the minimum amount recommended and may approve the regular and supplemental tax budgets in larger amounts. The bill also makes conforming changes to the Scotland County Board of Education's budget process.
