North Carolina S113 allows property owners to expedite the removal of squatters from residential property.

North Carolina S113 creates an expedited process for removing unauthorized persons from residential property. A property owner or their representative can request law enforcement to remove an unauthorized person if certain conditions are met, such as the property owner having directed the person to leave and no pending litigation. The law enforcement agency must remove the person within 24 hours of receiving the affidavit.
