Reduces early voting period for all elections in North Carolina to 10 consecutive days.

The bill reduces the early voting period for all elections in North Carolina to 10 consecutive days. It amends the early voting period for municipal elections, special elections, and special primaries. The Governor can set the early voting period for special elections and special first primaries, but it must be for 10 consecutive days. The bill also specifies that early voting must end by 3:00 P.M. on the last Saturday before the election. This act applies to elections held on or after the date it becomes law.
