North Carolina S1069 amends zoning regulations to allow local governments to implement inclusionary zoning to supplement affordable housing. It also appropriates ten million dollars from the General Fund to the Housing Finance Agency for the Workforce Housing Loan Program, starting in the 2026-2027 fiscal year. This act becomes effective July 1, 2026.
