The Digital NC Act establishes the Board of Governors of the North Carolina Digital Sovereignty Authority to develop a comprehensive plan for the modernization, consolidation, and cyber defense of the state's information technology enterprise. The Board will create a 20-year strategic vision, modernize infrastructure, and enhance cybersecurity. The plan will be presented to the General Assembly for consideration and enactment.
