The Reflexologists Right to Work Act exempts nationally certified reflexologists from oversight by the North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy. This exemption applies to those with current certification from the American Reflexology Certification Board or its successor entity, as well as reflexology students under supervision if they obtain certification within 12 months of starting the certification process. The act becomes effective October 1, 2025.
