CCW Permit/Allow Carry of Other Weapons

Allows concealed carry of certain weapons if the person has a concealed handgun permit or is exempt from obtaining one.

North Carolina H964 amends existing law to permit the concealed carry of weapons such as a loaded cane, metallic knuckles, razor, shuriken, stun gun, or other deadly weapons of similar kind. This applies if the person has a concealed handgun permit or is exempt from obtaining one. The law does not affect prosecutions for offenses committed before its effective date and remains applicable to those cases. The act becomes effective December 1, 2025.
