North Carolina H924 amends the State Licensing Board for General Contractors' authority to refer violations to law enforcement for criminal prosecution. The Board can now refer matters to appropriate agencies or District Attorneys for investigation and possible prosecution. The Board may also disclose investigative records to facilitate these investigations or prosecutions. This act is effective October 1, 2025, and applies to violations committed on or after that date.
