It mandates studies on PFAS presence in biosolids, leachate, and drinking water, and ecological impacts in the Cape Fear River Basin. The Department of Environmental Quality must identify PFAS discharge limits and develop a PFAS Chemical Action Plan. Public water systems must notify customers of PFAS in drinking water.
