This applies to contracts issued, renewed, or amended on or after October 1, 2025. The bill specifies that coverage should not be denied if the patient requests a refill after using 70% of the prescribed dosage or 21 days post-distribution, whichever comes first. The State Health Plan is also required to comply with these provisions starting from the next plan year.
