Voucher School Transparency Act

Introduced·4/7/25

Voucher School Transparency Act mandates reporting and auditing for nonpublic schools accepting scholarship funds.

The Voucher School Transparency Act requires nonpublic schools accepting scholarship funds to report various metrics and undergo audits. Schools must provide attendance records, teacher licensure data, accreditation status, fire inspection documentation, and curriculum details. They must also report on students' prior school attendance and disability status. The Office of Learning Research must recommend standardized tests for grades three through eight. Schools must administer these tests and the ACT in grade 11, reporting results to the State Education Assistance Authority.
