North Carolina H659 requires local governments to itemize invoices, detailing payee, amount, items or services, and performance dates. These invoices must be accessible on local government websites or in physical binders for municipalities without websites. Additionally, websites must link to the top three bids for every project. Invoices cannot be redacted unless legally required. The act takes effect July 1, 2025.
