Increases various fees for the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
The bill increases fees for various nursing licensure activities in North Carolina, including application, renewal, and reinstatement fees. The fees cannot increase by more than 20% from one year to the next. The Board of Nursing will not refund any fees and may assess costs of disciplinary action against nurses found in violation of the North Carolina Nursing Practice Act. The changes apply to applications, renewals, and reinstatements for licensure on or after October 1, 2025.
