North Carolina H392 appropriates $250,000 for the 2025-2026 fiscal year to The United Way of Forsyth County, Inc., to fund summer learning programs. The United Way will develop a Request for Proposal (RFP) to contract with community agencies, either extending existing services or partnering with vetted organizations, to provide summer learning opportunities for students not eligible for local school system programs. This act takes effect July 1, 2025.
