Waives annual report requirement and fees for business entities owned by deployed members of the Armed Forces.
This bill waives the annual report requirement and fees for limited liability companies (LLCs), limited liability partnerships, and corporations owned by deployed members of the Armed Forces. It allows these entities to file their annual report by April 15 of the year following the end of the deployment period. If the deployment is extended, the report is due 90 days after the end of the extension period. The bill also waives fees for these filings. The provisions apply to entities where more than 50% of the ownership interest is held by deployed members of the Armed Forces.
