The bill designates November as Marrow Donation Awareness Month in North Carolina. It directs the Department of Health and Human Services to create a public service announcement about bone marrow donation and transplantation. The Department of Motor Vehicles will also broadcast this announcement. The bill appropriates $100,000 for a public awareness campaign during Marrow Donation Awareness Month. The act becomes effective July 1, 2026.
