North Carolina-Ireland Trade Commission

Establishes the North Carolina-Ireland Trade Commission to promote trade and investment between North Carolina and Ireland.

The bill creates the North Carolina-Ireland Trade Commission, which will encourage bilateral trade, mutual investment, and cultural exchanges between North Carolina and Ireland. The Commission will meet at least twice a year and submit an annual report to the General Assembly. Members include two senators, two representatives, an individual active in Irish-American affairs, and two others with relevant experience. The Department of Commerce will provide administrative services, with an appropriation of $10,000 for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.
