North Carolina H1160 reduces parent copayments for subsidized child care by setting fees at 7% of gross family income starting October 1, 2026. It also appropriates $25 million from the General Fund to the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Child Development and Early Education, to cover these reduced copayments beginning in the 2026-2027 fiscal year.
